Chances are, whether you realize it or not, you’re not only struggling with trying to keep a balanced work and family life but also juggling the added worry of the seemingly increasing acts of violence occurring on a global level which are being broadcast through the news and other media outlets on a minute to minute basis making the perfect storm for feeling out of control and overwhelmed.

Stress management refers to a wide spectrum of techniques and therapies that aim to control a person's levels of stress, especially chronic stress, to improve everyday functioning. 

Phase I: Back to Basics - Managing Stress from the Ground Up

In this phase you will learn how to identify your true sources of stress, and look more closely at your habits, attitudes, and even excuses that keep you caught in the web of unhealthy stress. 

The course is 8 weeks in length and each week consists of videos, podcasts, facilitated discussion forums, experiential exercises, and instructor feedback.

Thriving has two crucial components: vitality and curiosity. In Phase II you will learn tips, tricks, tools, and techniques to help you prevent spark dampening stress and ignite your vitality. Sustainability is the key so this phase will focus on helping you not just make simple changes but deep and lasting transformation. 

Phase III: Transforming Crisis: When Things Go Horribly Wrong

Resilience is the key to thriving during crisis. In this phase you will learn real skills and tactics to manage immediate critical incident and traumatic stress. This course will also cover content on most effective response to an active terror situation.
